Our brim shaping process uses a hot-press molding system with industrial-grade thermoplastic interlining (HDPE brim board, 1.2-2.0mm variable thickness). Each brim undergoes a dual-stage forming process: initial shape pressing at 160 degrees C for 45 seconds, followed by a cooling stabilization phase to lock molecular structure.

DWR & TPU Waterproof Coating System

We apply a C6 DWR (Durable Water Repellent) fluorocarbon-free coating using a continuous pad-dry-cure process. Fabric passes through a dip-nip padder, followed by infrared pre-drying at 80 degrees C and final curing at 150 degrees C for 90 seconds. For premium waterproof products, we offer TPU membrane lamination (2.5L and 3L constructions) with seam-sealing capability.

Detachable Neck Flap Engineering

Our detachable neck flap system uses a concealed button-snap fastening structure with a recessed track sewn into the lower cap band. The flap fabric is cut on-grain to prevent warping, pre-shrunk at 130 degrees C before attachment, and finished with a UPF50+ rated nylon ripstop (40D, 68gsm). Snap buttons are tested to 5,000 open/close cycles without failure.

Performance Sweatband Engineering

Our inner sweatband uses a terry loop knit structure (75% polyester / 25% spandex) with integrated antimicrobial silver-ion yarn. The band is cut to a precise 35mm width, ultrasonic-welded at join points to eliminate traditional stitching bulk, and bonded to the inner cap using a heat-activated adhesive film (no raw edges exposed). All sweatbands pass a 50-wash colorfastness test to Grade 4 or above.
